Well, the instructions were to replace 'women' with 'newbs' when you read it, so if anything it would be disrespectful to 'newbs'! I agree that the joke on its own and out of context could be considered disrespectful to women, however, in context I thought it made an excellent point about the difficulty of understanding the needs of 'newbs'. (BTW, I'm an atheist and was not offended in any way).
