Erich already answered this question in another thread.
If you want KDE, just install the latest Ubuntu Studio (22.04).
If you want XFCE, then install Xubuntu 22.04, and then install the
Ubuntu Studio packages as described here:
https://ubuntustudio.org/ubuntu-studio-installer/
If you want Gnome, then install the standard Ubuntu and use the same
ubuntu-studio-installer. I can confirm that this works, as I use this on
one of my machines.
This should work for any other flavor of Ubuntu (Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie,
Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE) as well.
