Hi, I just installed US 16.10? (Can't tell; sysinfo crashes immediately if I click on system, and Ampare only shows kernel version 3.13.0-36-lowlatency). Whisker menu only shows:
Favorites Recently Used All Accessories Education Games Internet Media Playback Office System Ubuntu Studio Information If I right-click on the menu icon and open "Edit Applications", I also see: Audio Production Graphic Design Video Production Development Other But these are not present in the Whisker Menu. I believe that the software in those categories has been installed; if I search for "Gimp", for example, I get an entry that states "run gimp", and clicking on it in fact opens Gimp. But it's not in the menu. I also tried running the meta installer with all it's categories (including the menu item), but it states that everything has been installed. How do I get the menu properly configured with all the US software? Thanks in advance.
