I lurk on this list - but I've got to briefly emerge to thank Nicholas for teaching me a new term "bikeshedding". I didn't know this Parkinson's Law. (For those who also weren't aware http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/Parkinsons-law-of-triviality-bikeshedding )
