Andrew, your correct. These tests are for the moment intentionally generic, so they can be run on all of the flavors. This can be confusing across flavors, since not everything looks exactly the same. Some of the flavors teams (like lubuntu) have spoken of creating or extending the testcases to be more useful in there specific environment -- it's something people have thought about. With that said, I don't see harm in updating this testcase for the moment to mention xubuntu looks differently in that step (perhaps a footnote).
