Ah, gee whiz... You guys are no fun! Its hard for me to contain myself... I've built Unix systems manually from bare disks at various times in my past. :-) Seriously though... my plan for this morning is: * Move my .ssh directory over the the external drive where it is safe. * Run the factory reset command that was suggested. Question: should I run this as root or phablet? Should I set the mount back to original state first? ie "mount -o remount,ro /"? Once I get past that I'll try the instructions on libertine. It really set up so that there is a developer container and a user container, ie one container to build packages natively, which will only exist on one notepad and only be accessed by ssh and used at command line; and one container in which to install and run the FTE software, which will only be used via the GUI and will exist on all such operational units.
