Unity8 doesn't really use any components at all. There's only the occational button in the scopes, but apart from that, unity8 consists mostly of rectangles and images. For the SDK it would make more sense to look at what the QtControls guys came up with. I bet they do, but I'll let them comment on their own. In any case, the new QtControls work quite differently than the old ones. It's not like the Ubuntu Components could just be converted easily.
