You realize that, at the end of the day, Dalvik is just a VM that runs Java bytecode? It's even worse, performance wise, than Wine. Wine is just a layer that does linking between Linux/Windows APIs, but wine programs are still native, whereas Dalvik has to interpret the bytecode, run it, garbage collect, and manage the memory. A windows/wine app does everything on its own.
