For more details see [2]. From karmic point of view we already have bleeding edge anjuta ;-) Note also that this list is for developing ubuntu and maintaining packaging in universe. It is not a general place to request packaging requests (new software / updated software). Please use launchpad.net/ubuntu for that. Have a nice day =) ps If you can't wait at all to file backports reports on the package page [3] on launchpad.net there is also a version search across ppa's (under the fold-out link "Other versions of 'anjuta' in untrusted archives") which lists currently 3 ppa's and 2 of them have 2.26.2.2 versions of anjuta.
