Look here, I released some source and ubuntu packages:

Some people did try the Ubuntu packages and reported no problems yet.
You're welcome to try them or build new packages from the source. The
Ubuntu files ("/debian") aren't yet inserted in the CVS. I could commit
them into CVS or send them by E-Mail if you like to take a look.
