apt-get isn't removing the orphaned dependencies, just installing them. 'sudo apt-get remove <package_name>' is removing just the package name itself, and none of the orphaned dependencies that it brought during install. Is there something I need to upgrade to see this happen with apt-get? I'm on edgy. Let me know.
