Hi all;
   I was not expecting to cause any trouble in a group that already has many diversified debates but I would like to remain in the group.
   I guess I am the only one in this group from Turkey. Marketing Ubuntu or another distro may be easier on other countries but here almost everyone uses pirated Windows at home (and many companies despite BSA). And when they already get their OS for free then switching them is even harder.
   I have no qualification in marketing but I find this list to be a platform for me to learn. And being so new in marketing I do not think it would be wise to interrupt discussions.
   So; I am not writing any mails to the list or contributing anything; but am reading every simgle mail and visiting the sites you link to. Learning things and trying to think of ways to market Ubuntu here in Turkey.
   Thanks for all again;
Atila

I was planning to raise this today, as well. When I've been approving
new members, I've let them know that their membership automatically
expires after 30 days. I've also noticed a few memberships expiring
and have been re-enabling them as I've spotted them.

When we've discussed this previously, on the list, I'm pretty certain
everyone agreed that interested people should be allowed to join and
leave the Launchpad team as and when they choose.

Is there any benefit to expiring memberships after 30 days, or a year,
or any other arbitary period?
