Reasons to switch 3. Preparing to switch 4. Installing Ubuntu 5. Applications 6. Importing data from Windows Appendices A. Windows networking B. Dual-booting with Windows It is intended that (1) or (2) will contain a section explaining the open-source model. (3) will contain details on preparing data to be transferred from Windows onto an Ubuntu installation. (5) will contain a list of equivalent applications and (4) will contain details on partitioning and so on. We would especially like help in testing the instructions in chapters (3) and (6), when they have been written. We'd also like your thoughts on the content of chapter (2), as this may be sensitive from a marketing perspective. We want to make sure we're putting the 'right' advantages in!
