-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
> [ideas for realistic user in the ubuntu manual] Thanks for this good ideas. They show, that a "John Doe" or whoever is welcome in the manual. The idea of "John's" realistic documents, email and social network accounts is great, too. But I think this would be a huge work to create, especially for the translators. So what do you think about the following compromise? We use "John Doe" for the general account and if there is a screenshot with some personal data of "John", e.g. view to read/unread emails, gwibber messages, and so on, the creator of the screenshot can use his own private settings for that. Critical private information on that screenshots could be wiped out (e.g. email adresses). In this way, we have no creation and translation effort of "John's" syntetic but realistic documents, need not to share his account information to all authors and translators, but we have a relaistic look and feel of daily life situations on the screenshots.
