Hi All, I saw this story a week or so ago, and am now just getting around to passing it along. People in the UK are asking their Prime Minister to formally apologize for how Alan Turing was treated once it was discovered that he was gay. Here is the story: http://tinyurl.com/pv2afg
I've taken a bit of pride knowing that one of the greatest computer scientists who has ever lived was gay. It's a tremendous shame how he was treated. I hope that a formal apology is issued. Jim P.S.
