As my need is to use a single installation in different machines.
I think , I will not able to save any document or install any application in
case of live CD/USB (please correct me, if I am wrong).
Virtual Machine however is the only choice, but it needs virtual machine s/w
installation in all the machines and will be comparative slow.
I already tried Red hat 7, Fedora 8 , Ubuntu 7 and Kunbuntu 8 on Virtual
Machine.
But I want seperate OS, as system has to manage two OS in VMachine.

Can you suggest any other flavor of linux, which will be quite fast and
portable in external device (currently I have - celeron,core duo & AMD
athlon based systems).
