Hi! I would like to report a problem I am having trying to install Ubuntu on my HP probook 4510s laptop.
I have used both wiki and a cd and the installation stops right after the ubuntu logo appears and then there is only a black screen. I know very little about computers. Could you help me with this? I have tried Mandriva and Linux Mint as well and encountered the same problem. I have been using Ubuntu for three years on my older Toshiba laptop, which I had to replace. Could this be a hardware incompatibility problem? Thank you for your time, Maria
