I perform many Ubuntu Gnome installations to individual and professional end users, and I know that a part of them migrate from Windows to Ubuntu Gnome for "political" or philosophical reasons.
Some of those people (small number) can identify this u-20aa sign, and this will spoil the trust to GNU/Linux. I'm thinking in removing plymouth-theme-ubuntu-gnome-logo package when tuning preinstallations.
