GNOME though has a roadmap: initial support this fall, full support next spring. It comes down to how well GNOME 3.10 on Wayland works because I don't think Fedora is afraid to beta-test new shiny. Fedora does have one shortcut...they don't have to worry about support for proprietary graphics drivers since those have never been officially supported anyway. It sounds like KDE will be ready for Wayland at the same time.
