Don't mind me, but I think you're making it too complex.
It's okay if you just have one standard form, you don't need several
alternatives to do the same thing...
Please note that there is no way to remove Ubuntu components currently
as for removing/downgrading packages by ppa-purge.
I didn't say that.
I think it's okay the way it is. Including the name, if my voice

have any meaning here.
ppa-purge has had more than one way of giving the repository even
before I started working on it.
That's not even a response to the above statement.
