Hi Dane, The 'resolvconf' package is a rather sophisticated framework for controlling how /etc/resolv.conf is generated, and NetworkManager will use it if it is installed. For example, I use it to add a "search mycompany.com" statement to /etc/resolv.conf that persists when NetworkManager rewrites the file to change the nameservers. Max.
