I'll bet more people have heard of Google Talk than Pidgin. The VoIP in Telepathy/Empathy works flawlessly with Google Talk users. > Pidgin works terrificly, and is stable. Ekiga covers the rest. Saying that Ekiga meets the VoVi needs of Pidgin users is pretty ridiculous. It's SIP for a start, nobody uses SIP, and for the few that do, TELEPATHY SUPPORTS SIP TOO! I believe this should NOT be put on hold. Having a solid user base from Ubuntu will bring development up to a lightning pace, and it has infinitely more scope for game-changing than cross-platform (read Lowest-Common-Denominator; see Firefox) Pidgin. -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list Ubuntu-devel-discuss@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
