Moving this to main would also open the door to possible inclusion in the LiveCD or Server install CD. Actually, DVD images will make better use of this. In low bandwidth environments the "server" may be another neighboring laptop or desktop. Even if universe is on by default, this single package would mean much faster mass installs when you have a DVD image, for example.
