Ok. This is about as far as I go with Ubuntu (desktop). The server is
progressing in exactly the right direction. But for the love of God! ,
what is going on with the visuals? It has been "brown" for as long as
I remember, and now it is moving toward yellow. That is more than
enough reason to know it will look horrible on my macbook screen.
Take into consideration that lots of people in the blogosphere have
been moaning about this for a long time and Canonical still hasn't
pulled through with this. The fact that Ubuntu looks appalling in
terms of theming is not a shallow statement. After all, I'm not the
only Linux geek with an opinion like this.
In any case, something has to be done, urgently, before people decide
to start using Amigas again =)

Ubuntu karmic 9.10 is officially out!
Give it a spin and let us know if everything works as expected. The
live cd environment or a virtual machine is perfect for testing. :-)
P.S. Sorry for the extra short announcement, the official announcement
is attached.

Amazon's
EC2, and Ubuntu Netbook Remix, continuing Ubuntu's tradition of
integrating
the latest and greatest open source technologies into a high-quality,
