@Julian: I'll try to answer your question. The status of this bug has been sitting at "Fix Committed" to signify that somebody has made a patch that solves the problem. What the status needs to get to is "Fix Released," which is when the solution actually becomes available (and by available, I mean in the form of a package update). This is how I understand it to work.
