I confirm this bug, I burned the alternate daily image (from 30th August) of Intrepid Ibex on both a CD and DVD disc and in both cases at the very beginning of the installation process the installer says it can't find the CD. My hardware is pretty new so I guess more people will experience this. Mainboard model: P965 Neo MS-7235 Vendor:Intel Corporation (Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.) I needed I will post other info or test anything else.
