Sorry don't understand all the terms used above but on the last updates sent(around 8-20-08) . My update manger came up with a error message: error message occured message said E: dpkg was interrupted,you must manually run 'dpkg--configure-a'correct problem E_cache->open () failed,please report--- This locked up computer and update failed requiring a reboot to start back up-- now update manger is locked with the above message message and appears to be stuck with this error message appearing whenever update manger is opened I'm using a updated version 7.1 to 8.04
