Hi Reinhard, indeed the bt is catched using another wmv file, but it gives the same error as in my first message launched manually (totem pOrNmOvie.wmv). I noted also other things: totem crashes also double clicking the file in nautilus, but not if it is launched from cli (without specifing the file to play) and then opening the file through the menu Movie->Open.
