I just installed UbuntuStudio last night over a new clean 8.04.1 i386
install and got similar messages:

Errors were encountered while processing:
timidity
ubuntustudio-audio
E: subprocess /usr/bin/dpkg returned and error code (1)
A: package failed to install.  Trying to recover:

I removed the packages and today tried reinstalling them and got the
same messages.
