@Jason: Don't get me wrong - I wasn't telling you you are wrong here (besides, I'm even not the one who should do so - I'm just another user affected by a similar bug - namely the other one mentioned). It was just a suggestion to check, since you seemed to be able to act with your keyboard which was described here as not possible. But since you cannot get to another console (CTRL-ALT-Fn), this one here seems to match better ;)
As for your Xorg logs: You may check the timestamp of the files (Xorg starts a new log on each system start). You may also search them for the keyword "Backtrace" (which is followed by the error stack) to find more information. As for the hanging on startup: This in my case may be connected to KDE and maybe does not happen with other window managers - it may even be not connected to the Crash at all, so count that fact out :) I just did a search with keywords from your description, and I cannot find a more fitting bug either. -- nvidia locks up X on logout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237531 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
