I have the following facts: - I got the same error message, after a kernel upgrade to -19. It repeats itself after hald is loaded. By googling for a solution with that message I found this topic. - I run Ubuntu 8.04 - I do have a different processor - The pc wouldn't accept any input (except reset button) - After a bios update the problem no longer occured, so it works for me
