I have added an upstream task as this looks like an internal problem of the HPIJS driver. The driver executable does not have Ubuntu-specific patches.
Can you use the troubleshooting function of system-config-printer (menu "Help")? Follow the instructions of the wizard and in the "Test page" step you print from Firefox and select the job from the job list. The wizard then does everything for you to generate a decent debug log (especially putting CUPS into debug mode). Attach the resulting file to this bug report. It contains all configuration info and a debug log, so that the HPIJS developers at HP can fix the problem quickly. ** Changed in: hplip Status: New => Incomplete -- hpijs crashed with SIGSEGV printing web page from Firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248095 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
