In Hardy Heron Beta:
Likewise open allows users to join a domain with a non-administrative
privileges.
After joining the domain with a non-administrative user, other users may log in
and out via Active Directory without issue.
After the machine is rebooted any user that logs in is receives an error(Domain
or Local), however only local users continue to startup to desktop. Domain
users are brought back to the GDM login prompt.
Steps to reproduce:
1.)Install Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron Beta
2.)Update to latest version of release(as of 04/19/08)
3.)Install packaged likewise-open and likewise-open-gui
4.)Join domain in likewise-open gui with non-administrative account.
5.)Log out, and log in with any account from active-directory domain
6.)Reboot machine
7.)Attempt login with any account from active-directory domain
8.)Attempt login with local account
Expected results:
User should not be able to join the domain with a non-administrative account.
What Happened instead:
User is able to join the domain with a non-administrative account and log-in,
until machine reboots.
