Thanks, Agostino and Colin. Some questions: * Was this ntfs-3g patch sent/ack'ed upstream? Is it fixed in Intrepid already?
* What is the rationale for adding the change to ntfs-3g and dropping the equivalent sysctl call in lupin? Is the hack in lupin insufficient to fix the problem? I need to understand why we need to make this "shift" in the hardy stable release (it's certainly good to clean up hacks in Intrepid, of course) -- wubi install unusable - Buffer I/O error on device loop0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204133 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
