I think this is unlikely caused by conky, most probably its just an
issue which is exposed by it.
Anyhow, can you give us the required info about your system and conky?
Can you tell us how long it takes for this problem to show?
What do you mean by conky processes? What is it that you "quit" and how?
How do you start conky?
I have conky running with your .conkyrc (which is a pretty standard one)
since half an hour with no problems, I'll keep it running for some more
hours just to be sure.
