If you do "dpkg -L rss-glx" you'll see all the files in the package. Beware there are two .desktop files for each hack, the one used by the gnome-screensaver is the one in /usr/share/applications/screensavers/. It is the "Exec" line that you'll have to change, by adding your options to the already existing "-r" one.
