I want to use xmms on hardy but it is not available in the Add/Remove
packages program.

Oddly enough, these programs are available for XMMS under hardy:

----
xmms-kjofol-skins (0.95.0debian3-4build1) [universe]
    Skins for the xmms-kjofol package
xmms-midi (0.03-5build1) [universe]
    MIDI plugin for XMMS
xmms-oggre (0.3-3build1) [universe]
ogg disk output plugin for XMMS
xmms-openspc (0.0.4-2build1) [universe]
SPC file player plugin for XMMS
xmms-osd-plugin (2.2.14-1.4) [universe]
    XMMS plugin using xosd
xmms-volnorm (0.8.3-1) [universe]
XMMS plugin that gives all songs the same volume level
xmms-wma (1.0.5-5build1) [universe]
    WMA input plugin for XMMS
xmms-xmmplayer (0.3.3-1build1) [universe]
----

I try to install xmms-volnorm and I get this message: "xmms-volnorm:
Depends: xmms but it is not installable"

I want to use XMMS. Xmms is a well built program. XMMS is not xmms2. I
don't need to use kaffeine or audacious. What's going on here?
