The same problem. Pidgin cannot connect to icq. It says "Server closed the connection" at first attempt, and "Incorrect password" at second. The password is simle enougth, and the miranda im (under wine) connected without problems. I have router as internet firewall/nat, and i can say that icq worked properly all days before. Version of pidgin is 2.4.1. Version of pidgin's package: 2.4.1-1ubuntu2. I also checked pidgin on my laptop, it can't connect to icq too. Msn and Google Talk works.
