Hi Elod, Thanks for testing and the feedback. It seems this issue is resolved for you with the upcoming 2.6.25 Intrepid kernel. Since you are the original bug reporter, I'm going to mark this bug as Fix Released against Intrepid. It would be good to also try to isolate the patch which could possibly be backported to Hardy. However, this may prove difficult for the developers to isolate since they have differing hardware. How comfortable would you be at performing a git-bisect? It's obviously not something we expect you to do but I could try to walk you through the appropriate steps.
