I would love to give you feedback, however I'll be the first to admit
that I'm a bit.. shall we say.. process challenged.  :)

By that, I mean two things:  First, I have little experience with
Nagios.  I tried it a few years ago and was unimpressed.  Reading the
changelog for version 3 convinced me it might be worth trying again.
However, beyond installing it and verifying that it starts, I wouldn't
know what else you might like me to try.  If you have specific tests in
mind, please let me know.

The other issue that I have is how do I use the link that you provide?
Do I simply manually add it to the repository list somehow?  As an
aside, I generally use adept_manager for package maintenance.  I am
familiar with Synaptic, too, as well as directly editing text files
through CLI.  I would greatly appreciate some directions as to how you'd
like me to proceed with installation.

BTW, thanks for the quick response!  I've got two other reported bugs in
Launchpad that have languished for months.  I was worried that I
wouldn't hear anything back on this one for quite some time.
