Same here. Camorama fails with 'could not connect' error. Testing on a Dell 1420 laptop with integrated webcam (apparent manufacturer is OmniVision), running ubuntu 7.10.
Results of lsusb camorama -D lsusb -v sudo lsusb -v v4l-info are included in attachment, as well as version info.
