Sorry, I don't have any.  The only thing I can figure is that, for
some reason, OpenOffice won't write the changes for the JRE to the
applicable config file.  It's like it has amnesia; you tell it what
you want and it forgets.  I suppose if you knew where that information
was stored, you, theoretically, make the changes manually, but that is
certainly not the preferred option.  OOo does "see" the JREs, so that,
apparently, isn't the problem.  There is also the issue of the JDBC
being recognized, but I think that has more to do with OOo not making
the changes to the JRE.
