Hi Everyone,

It is helpful to the development teams if bug reports target one
specific issue against a specific set of hardware/drivers. Looking
through this report I've seen quite a few slightly different bugs being
reported. The original bug reporter commented that this was resolved
after installing the linux-ubuntu-modules package. Those still
experiencing issues after having done this have a different bug. It
would be helpful if you would open a new bug report regarding the exact
issue you are seeing. However, before doing so you may want to try
installing the linux-backports-modules package as it contains an updated
version of the iwlwifi drivers, version 1.2.25. You can see which
version of the driver you are using by running 'modinfo iwl3945' in a
terminal. If your issue still exists, please be sure to include the
appropriate debugging information in your new bug report as outlined
here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies . I apologize for
any inconvenience this may cause but we appreciate your cooperation.
Thanks.
