>From the sounds of it, you still had /home when you rebooted, but your documents were missing.
Can you provide a list of the folders that exist in /home right now? What exactly did you see when you rebooted? Just a desktop devoid of files? Was anything else odd? It is very peculiar that an update would just delete documents, images, and videos. So we'll have to track this down the best we can. A log of your recent updates would also be helpful (term.log): Please attach /var/log/apt/term.log (you may need root permissions to copy this file). $ sudo cp /var/log/apt/term.log ~/Desktop/ $ sudo chmod 644 ~/Desktop/term.log And attach term.log from desktop. Mount options can be had by typing the following: mount | grep sda3 -- latest batch of updates deleted all user docs, pics, music and vids? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/214898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
