Still the same problem with the current version:

I have the impression that the trigger is not (only) an incoming chat
message but audio output. This problem also occurs when I call a
contact.

Does not happen everytime. It works fine after starting Skype. But when
Skype sits around idle for a long enough time this happens with a very
high chance.

Switching from OSS to ALSA (in Skype) doesn't make a difference - still
the same problem.

I am using a mostly vanilla 2.6.17.6 kernel (with the exception of the
Suspend2 patches). The kernel config however is based on the config used
in Ubuntu.

It seems that this problem provides users of a system with the
possibilty to DOS the system - especially if someone is able to isolate
the cause of the problem. I would therefore suggest to treat this
problem as a critical problem.
