I found a config file for the Niveus Media set (receiver/remote) at: http://lircconfig.commandir.com/lircd.conf/?viewremote=456.
I use a very similar "Marmitek" remote and wasn't able to set it up correctly either (it's not listed and I don't understand enough of the underlying software to fix it yet). The Marmitek model is a X10 CM21A RF-receiver with a UR86E remote. Niveus uses the same receiver with the UR88A remote.
