I have donloaded by hand the three needed files and have put them into the proper directory /usr/share/amap. The program amap now works but the package manager is still saying that the "--configure" step of my last amap installation request is failing. As you can see from my previous report, a version upgrade is needed as the needed files have been moved!!! I hope that someone will pay a bit of attention to this nice piece of software.
