It doesn't speak well to a project when a user 1. Finds a bug 2. Find a fix for the bug 3. Creates a patch for the bug 4. Files a bug with project and uploads the patch
And then after all that work, the bug is completely ignored for over a year before it's finally marked "won't fix". To me, that doesn't seem to be a good way to promote involvement in a project. I'm not very inclined to put forth this effort again when last time I was pretty much ignored, except by another user who had the same problem. That said, according to http://www.video4linux.org/changeset/4927%3A09e46aea3bc7 this patch made it into V4L over a year ago and current versions of Ubuntu use kernels that include this patch. I have not yet installed Hardy but I did verify that it was in the 2.6.22 source from the current Mythbuntu. So, since you're not planning on fixing the older version, this bug can be closed. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- [Edgy PATCH] Radio on PVR-150 outputs only noise. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/81398 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
