Thanks for taking time to report that bug. Most probably that since you
changed your graphic card, the configuration of the /etc/usplash.conf
file is not correct. In order to see if this is really your case, can
you follow these steps and confirm if it fixed your problem?
1. Go to your System / Administration / Screen and Display menu and look what
is your actual screen resolution.
2. Type this in a terminal : gksu gedit /etc/usplash.conf and modify the xres
and yres values to be the same as your actual resolution and save the file.
3. Type this in a terminal to apply the changes to usplash : sudo
update-initramfs -u
