I experience the same type of bugs since few days with gnome-power-
manager. First the memory consumption increase until it saturates my
whole RAM (2Gb). Then it begin to consume my SWAP area. I had also to
kill gnome-power-manager to back to a normal memory consumption. When I
relaunch it, it does not consume more memory than normally. This bug
occurs often few time after my laptop (a Dell Vostro 1400) wake up from
an hibernation and reproduce at least five or six times since few days.
I will try to trace the bug in the next day.
